LIFE AFTER FLASH Trailer: Documentary About FLASH GORDON Star Sam Jones

If you're reading this site, I assume you've seen the 1980 classic Flash Gordon, the absurd sci-fi space adventure with a rockin' Queen soundtrack and a leading turn by actor Sam J. Jones. Jones has popped up in the two Ted movies in recent years since Seth MacFarlane is clearly a fan of the old movie, but the actor is still best known for his work as the titular hero.

Filmmaker Lisa Downs has taken to Indiegogo to raise funds for Life After Flash, a documentary that explores the life of Sam Jones and the impact Flash Gordon had on pop culture. Featuring interviews with the cast and crew, as well as interviews with Flash Gordon superfans, the film appears to be an interesting look at the life of a man who's best known for work he did 35 years ago that continues to inspire, excite, and delight people today.

If nothing else, this trailer will make sure that the Flash Gordon theme song will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day — which isn't a bad thing.
