LIGHTYEAR Will Begin Streaming on Disney+ Next Month

The film Lightyear hit theaters this summer, and it was such a fun and exciting ride! The film told the story of Toy Story’s Andy’s favorite movie, which followed a space ranger named Buzz Lightyear as he crash landed on an alien planet, and his quest to get his crew back to earth safely.

Now you can watch the film at home when it hits Disney+ next month. My kids will definitely be tuning in to watch the film over and over again, as it was one of their favorites this year.

Lightyear stars Chris Evans as accomplished Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear, Uzo Aduba as his commander and best friend Alisha Hawthorne, and Peter Sohn as Sox. Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi, and Dale Soules lend their voices to the Junior Zap Patrol’s Izzy Hawthorne, Mo Morrison, and Darby Steel, respectively, and James Brolin can be heard as the enigmatic Zurg. The voice cast also includes Mary McDonald-Lewis as onboard computer I.V.A.N., Isiah Whitlock Jr. as Commander Burnside, Efren Ramirez as Airman Diaz, and Keira Hairston as Young Izzy.

Check out the video announcement for the home release below, and watch Lightyear on Disney+ starting on Wednesday, August 3rd.
