Lily James and Sebastian Stan to Play Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee in Hulu Series; Seth Rogen Also Cast
Lily James (Mamma Mia!, Baby Driver, Yesterday) and Sebastian Stan (Captain America, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) have signed on to play ‘90s wild couple Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee in an upcoming limited series at Hulu titled Pam & Tommy. The series will follow the actress and Mötley Crüe drummer through their whirlwind romance that started with them marrying after only knowing each other for 96 hours in 1995, then going through a legal battle after their sex tape was leaked.
Seth Rogen will play the man who stole and sold their sex tape, and he will produce the project with his partner Evan Goldberg through their Point Grey banner along with Dylan Sellers through Limelight Dave Franco and Sue Naegle and Megan Ellison at Annapurna. Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl, I, Tonya) is directing from a script by Rob Siegel.
This sounds like a wild story to see play out. I remember it all going down, but I was pretty young to know or care about it too much. I do like James and Stan a lot, so maybe I will be checking in. Does it sound like a series you’ll be interested in?
