Linda Cardellini is Set to Star Alongside Christina Applegate in Netflix's Dark Comedy Series DEAD TO ME

Linda Cardellini (Bloodline) is returning to Netflix for a new series that she will co-star in alongside Christina Applegate called Dead to Me. This is said to be a dark comedy series and it comes from writer Liz Feldman, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.

Dead to Me received a 10-episode straight-to-series order, and it has been described as a comedic version of HBO's Big Little Lies. It is about "a powerful friendship that blossoms between Jen (Applegate), a tightly wound widow, and Judy (Cardellini), a free spirit with a shocking secret."

Cardellini’s Judy is an outgoing free spirit who exudes both warmth and pathos as she struggles to deal with a personal tragedy. Judy desperately needs someone to connect with and finds a common ground and support system in Jen.

This seems like it will be a great role and project for Cardellini to be a part of. This will be her first series regular role on TV since she co-starred in Netflix’s Bloodline.

The next movie we'll see her in is The Green Book in which she stars alongside Viggo Mortensen. She's also set to appear in Paul Feig’s dark comedy A Simple Favor. She is also set to star in Warner Bros’ horror film The Curse of La Llorona and the Josh Trank-directed Fonzo with Tom Hardy

I've been a fan of Cardellini since Freaks and Geeks and it's great to see her landing some great TV and film projects!
