Lionsgate Already Wants A Sequel To Vin Diesel's THE LAST WITCH HUNTER

Vin Diesel, one of the most popular Facebook personalities on the planet, has taken to his personal page yet again to share a bit of news about his upcoming film schedule. Diesel claims Lionsgate is so happy with his upcoming movie The Last Witch Hunter that they're trying to get him to commit to doing a sequel.

In case you can't see the caption above, it says:

"So the studio apparently is so excited by the Last Witch Hunter—The Axe And Cross franchise...that they are already commencing on the next one. The first one doesn’t hit theaters until October 23rd, yet they want me to commit and already block out time to film it. As always, I love to hear your feedback..."

It's not surprising that Lionsgate wants to remain in business with Diesel, who has been a big box office draw for Universal across town with the Fast & Furious movies. Personally, I don't think The Last Witch Hunter looks very good — despite an awesome cast that includes Elijah Wood, Rose Leslie, and Michael Caine — but I also didn't necessarily think Pitch Black deserved two sequels, so it seems like people are falling all over themselves to make sure Diesel gets what he wants these days.

The Last Witch Hunter arrives in theaters on October 23rd, 2015.
