Lisa Kudrow to Star in New Animated Comedy at Fox

Lisa Kudrow has had a pretty great acting career, but she will probably always be best known as Phoebe from Friends.

Well, she’s about to have a new role in animation as Caroline in Lyle & Caroline, the latest animated series to get a script and presentation commitment from Fox.

The show “is described as a family-driven comedy focusing on the friendship of its two titular characters, who form a surrogate grandparent/grandchild bond in an unexpected way.” Caroline is the grandchild in the equation and is of high school-age.

Lyle & Caroline is being written by Eric and Justin Stangel who will also serve as executive producers alongside Kudrow. The show is currently expected to air during the 2019-20 schedule alongside other newcomers Duncanville and Bless This Mess.
