It's so strange to me that this movie is one of the most financially successful films of all time, but has left almost no cultural footprint; it's like everyone has seen this film, but nobody ever talks about it. Doesn't that strike you as bizarre? It's like we all signed some sort of unspoken contract in which we all agreed to forget the film ever existed.
