Listen to Billy Boyd's Song for THE HOBBIT - "The Last Goodbye"

A few weeks ago it was announced that Billy Boyd, who played Pippin in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, would be writing and performing a song for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The song is called "The Last Goodbye," and Water Tower Music has released a preview for it online for you to hear. The song will play during the closing credits of the film, and as I listen to it now, it's really making me sad. Boyd did a beautiful job with this, and it's a perfectly appropriate song to close out the Middle Earth franchise. Listen to it for yourself — and it's ok to admit if it gets all you hardcore Middle Earth fans a little misty-eyed.
