Listen To STAR TREK: DISCOVERY's Main Title Musical Score

CBS has released a new featurette for Star Trek: Discovery that puts the focus on composer Jeff Russo and the score that he created for the opening title sequence of the series. It shows him working with a 60-piece orchestra and we get to hear the score that he came up with. It's actually really good and it wonderfully blends the original musical cue with the new theme. Listen to it below and let me know if you like it or not.

When it comes to Star Trek, a dynamic main title theme is key. In this behind-the-scenes video for Star Trek: Discovery, composer Jeff Russo leads a 60-piece orchestra in recording the new series' theme. Star Trek: Discovery premieres in the U.S. on CBS All Access Sunday, Sept.
