Listen To This Death Metal Cover of Mister Rogers' Theme Song ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor’

If you haven’t seen A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood yet, I hope you take the opportunity to check it out at some point because it’s such a wonderful film that I absolutely loved.

In celebration of the release of the film, Mister Rogers fan and musician Clint Robinson of Barely Mob Studios shot a video of himself performing and insane death metal cover of the classic Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood theme song, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor”.

Robinson says that he’s not only a big fan of Mister Rogers, but he also appreciates the talent of show pianist, Johnny Costa.

This is definitely a metal cover I didn’t see coming, but I was so psyched when I saw the trailer for “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood” starring Tom Hanks. I’ve always had great admiration for Mr. Rogers and the musicianship of Johnny Costa behind the piano.

Here is my metal version of "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" 🏠 from "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood". - Original composition written by Fred Rogers and piano played by Johnny Costa.
