Live-Action BLEACH Movie Reportedly in Development at Warner Bros.

It looks like are going to be getting a live-action adaptation of the hit manga/anime Bleach, and it’s reportedly being developed as a movie at Warner Bros. Pictures.

This report comes from Hollywood insider DanielRPK, who also notes that the studio is currently on the hunt for a writer and director to take on the project.

It was only a matter of time before a big Hollywood studio attempted a make a live-action Bleach movie, and it will be interesting to see the direction they take it based on the talent that they bring on board to develop it.

This would be the latest in a wave of franchises from Shonen Jump moving forward with their Hollywood productions like Naruto, One Piece and One-Punch Man

Bleach follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager with the ability to see ghosts. His life changes when he encounters Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper tasked with guiding souls to the afterlife and defending the living world from evil spirits called Hollows.

After Rukia is injured in battle, she transfers her powers to Ichigo, thrusting him into the role of a substitute Soul Reaper. Ichigo must now balance his human life with his new responsibilities, learning to fight powerful Hollows and protect his friends and family from supernatural threats.

As the story progresses, Ichigo and his companions uncover a vast world of Soul Reapers, including complex political hierarchies and ancient rivalries within the Soul Society.

The story expands to introduce some enemies, such as the Arrancar and the traitorous former Soul Reaper, Sosuke Aizen. Throughout the series, Ichigo's strength grows as he faces increasingly dangerous adversaries and delves deeper into the mysteries of his own heritage, including his connection to powerful beings beyond the world of the living.
