Live Action RUROUNI KENSHIN Films Playing in Select U.S. Theaters

You loved the show watching it on Toonami growing up, and now the celebrated live-action Rurouni Kenshin films are coming to American theaters this fall! Typically I'm leery about recommending Japanese live-action film adaptations — more often than not, they are poorly done and low budget — but this one looks pretty solid! Here are the dates of when you should be looking out for the film to hit a theater near you:

Movie 1: Rurouni Kenshin: Origins, August 8 – 10
Movie 2: Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, September 12 – 14
Movie 3: Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends, Oct 3 – 5

That's a while to wait! The good news is that the anime is available for you to binge on Netflix! Go do that and remember why you from 10 years ago would've been super psyched about this news!
