Live-Action TOMB RAIDER Series Adds Martin Bobb-Semple in Major Regular Role
The live-action Tomb Raider series with Sophie Turner confirmed to play Lara Croft has added Martin Bobb-Semple, the rising British star most recently seen in a recurring role on The CW’s All American: Homecoming.
The show is based on the iconic video game series. While details are under wraps, it’s understood that the actor will be a series regular.
As previously reported, Phoebe Waller–Bridge will serve as creator, writer, and executive producer on the series, which has been in development at Prime Video since early 2023 and was officially greenlit in May 2024.
Chad Hodge has also boarded the show as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Waller-Bridge. Jonathan van Tulleken will serve as director and executive producer. Shooting is due to begin on January 19th, 2026.
