Logan Lerman To Star in Jordan Peele's Nazi Hunting Series THE HUNT

Jordan Peele (Get Out, The Twilight Zone) has been developing a new show for Amazon called The Hunt, which is described as a “vengeance-driven Nazi hunting series.”

According to Deadline, Logan Lerman (Fury) is in talks to take on the lead role in the series. Lerman is a talented young actor and this seems like it will be a great and intense role for him to take on.

The Hunt follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. “The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.”

Lerman will play a character named Jonah Heidelbaum, who, “when his grandmother is slain by a mysterious intruder in their apartment, sets out to track the culprit — only to find himself swept up in the mysterious organization known as The Hunt, a group of justice-seeking individuals dedicated to rooting out the Nazi murderers living in the U.S. under assumed identities.”

The series was created by David Weil (Moonfall), and he will write the series. This is an original idea that draws from real-life events.

The series has received an order of 10-episodes and I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
