Looks Like Margot Robbie Will Star in Quentin Tarantino's ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD

Director Quentin Tarantino has wanted Margot Robbie to play Sharon Tate in his upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood from the very beginning. We know he has talked to her about it, but now, according to Deadline, the actress has officially been offered the role and is currently in negotiations. So, it looks like Tarantino will get his dream casting!

Robbie will join the previously cast Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. The story is set in Los Angeles in 1969 and DiCaprio plays Rick Dalton in the story, a former star of a Western TV series. Pitt plays his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth. Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore and Sharon Tate is Rick's next door neighbor.

Charles Manson and the Manson Family is said to serve as a backdrop to the story. The filmmaker added:

"I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was 7 years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A., and a Hollywood that don’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio & Pitt as Rick & Cliff."

Margot Robbie is perfect for this role and I'm happy to see that it looks like she will actually end up staring in the film. This will be a great film project for her.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will be released on August 9th, 2019, which happens to be the 50th anniversary of the day that the Manson family committed the LaBianca murders and the day after Tate was killed.
