LOONEY TUNES CARTOONS is the Most Popular Item in the HBO Max Catalog

HBO Max launched last week and if you’re like me, you assumed that everyone getting the streaming service would immediately start streaming the popular Game of Thrones (albeit, probably not the last season or so). If this was your thought, you’d be wrong. According to Parrot Analytics, the number 1 streamed show on the service is Looney Tunes Cartoons with The Not-Too-Late Show With Elmo taking second place for a few days after launch until Love Life surged past it. Clearly, children are the royalty of streaming services. I really shouldn’t be surprised, I’m pretty sure my kid streams more than I do right now.

The below graphic shows interest in different HBO Max shows in comparison to interest to an average TV show. As you can see, Looney Tunes Cartoons leads with a 16.5x interest in the first few days. When you think about it, if you market to children, they’ll bug their parents for a long time.
