LOST BUT NOT FORGOTTEN is a D&D Adventure to Potentially Revive Fallen Party Members
Lost But Not Forgotten – Phoenix Ashes: Episode I is a new, unofficial Dungeons & Dragons supplement from Ammon Hansen. The supplement is part of The God Trials collection and provides a new potential way for a dead party member to be brought back. Phoenix Ashes is a new series in The God Trials that will provide various adventures and quests that an adventuring party could use in hopes of reviving a fallen ally. What’s more, the player for the dead character is able to temporary take over an NPC fey creature so that they can still have fun with the group. It sounds like a potentially fun way to work with death in a D&D campaign and is designed to be easily adjusted for any level party.
Following the death (or worse, erasure from existance) of a party member, the surviving members begin having visions as an ancient artifact begins to call out to them. Heeding the call, the party finds themselves brought to the Monastery of Frost Lake, where several powerful artifacts are watched over.
Gaining permission to use the item (under certain conditions involving a future quest thread), the party is allowed to venture into the chambers beneath Frost Lake. Facing traps, trials, challenges, and new monsters, they will be faced with one important question:
What are you willing to give up to save your friend?
