LOST Star Terry O'Quinn Joins Stephen King's CASTLE ROCK Hulu Series
LOST star Terry O'Quinn is the latest actor to join Stephen King and J.J. Abrams' new Hulu series Castle Rock. According to Deadline, O'Quinn will take on the role of a character named Dale Lacy, who is described as "a pillar of the community in the town of Castle Rock." I've always enjoyed the film and TV work that O'Quinn has been a part of and it's great to see him get another awesome TV gig!
O'Quinn joins a great cast of actors that also includes Scott Glenn, Andre Holland (Moonlight), Sissy Spacek, Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, and Bill Skarsgard.
Castle Rock is a 10-episode psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse. It "combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. As a series, Castle Rock aims to explores various themes and worlds, uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories."
The Castle Rock project comes from writers and executive producers Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason (Manhattan). This is easily one of my most anticipated new series and I can't wait to see it!
