Lots of Rad Video Game Treasures To See From The Embracer Games Archive
I’ve got a video here for you to watch from Embracer Games Archive that features CEO David Boström going through boxes filled with old-school video games and consoles, some of which have never even been opened!
Here’s the note that came along with the video:
Embracer Games Archive has left the vault and moved to its new location above ground. All the better for us, as we join CEO David Boström in a new unboxing extravaganza and get a tour at the new premises. David finds rare Nintendo special editions, a Mega CD collection with never opened games and a handheld games collection with some very special Pokemon games and much more.
The Games Archive is looking to “Archive and save as much of the video games industry as possible.” They already have 50,000 items and they will build a database to catalog the items. Unfortunately, there are no plans to make the entire collection open to the public. At some point, though, it will have some of the collection on display at the archive as well as temporary “satellite exhibitions”.
If you’re a video game geek, you’ll enjoy geeking out over this!
