Lucasfilm's BOBA FETT Series Rumored to Be a Prequel to THE MANDALORIAN

Not long ago, it was reported that Lucasfilm would be developing a The Mandalorian spinoff series focusing on the classic Star Wars character Boba Fett. As of right now, we’ve only seen a brief shot of Boba Fett in The Mandalorian series in the first episode, but we know that he has a story arc that will play out.

A new report has surfaced from The DIrect that the Boba Fett spinoff will be a prequel set before the events that are taking place in The Mandalorian. We assume that Temuera Morrison will be back to reprise his role, and there are a couple of other actors that may be attached to the project, and they include Jordan Bolger (The 100) and Sophie Thatcher (Chicago Med), who will take on supporting roles.

I’m curious about learning more about Boba Fett’s story in the Star Wars universe. There’s no doubt he’s been on an interesting road since we last saw him fall into the Sarlacc pit in The Return of the Jedi. It’ll be interesting to see if they actually show us how Boba Fett escaped the Sarlacc!

Boba Fett’s new story arc has barely started, but I can’t wait to see what Lucasfilm does with the bounty hunter!
