Disney recently announced several new live-action Star Wars series coming to Disney+ including Ahsoka, Rangers of the New Republic, Lando, and The Acolyte. The one series that has been rumored that fans were hoping to see announced was the one that would focus on Boba Fett.

Well, that series has been announced! It’s titled The Book of Boba Fett and it will be released on Disney+ in December 2021.

Temuera Morrison will reprise his role as Boba Fett in the series, and he will be joined by Ming-Na Wen who is reprising her role as Fennec Shand. The story for the series will be set on Tatooine.

This is all the information that I’m going to give you. The series is teased after the credits roll of the season finale of The Mandalorian Season 2. I won’t give you any more details because I want you to enjoy the reveal for yourself.

I’m just excited that a Boba Fett series is coming and it’s gonna be good! I’m sure more details will be officially revealed soon, so stay tuned.
