LUIGI'S MANSION 3 Gets the First Half of Its DLC and a Decent Patch

Luigi’s Mansion 3 has received it’s first Multiplayer DLC pack and a new free update. The DLC features three new costumes for Luigi to wear in ScareScraper mode including Mummigi, Green Knight, and Groovigi. Players will also notice new themed ghosts that will randomly appear in ScareScraper.

You’ll also be able to play three new mini-games in the ScreamPark. DodgeBrawl will feature a 2v2 battle against Gooigi to see who the more nimble is. River Bank will have you and your friends trying to gather coins while floating on the river. Finally, Tricky Ghost Hunt will have you and your friends competing to defeat the most ghosts while avoiding electrical panels.

The first part of the DLC is available now via the Nintendo eShop with the second part will release at the end of July. You can purchase both packs for only $9.99. If you purchase the DLC, you’ll also be gifted the Polterpup light called Flashlight Type-P for use in ScareScraper or Story Modes.

Meanwhile, all players will get access to Patch 1.3.0 which is required for the new DLC. According to GameSpot, the patch fixes several bugs as well as adds a 20-floor option to the ScareScraper mode.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented Luigi from moving near the door when capturing a Boo in the hallway of the Hotel Shops.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented Luigi from moving behind a bench in Studio 3 of Paranormal Productions.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the game from progressing after touching the shark fin on the beach of The Spectral Catch.

  • Fixed several issues to improve gameplay experience.
