Luke Cage Meets His Match and Gets Brutal in New Full Trailer For LUKE CAGE Season 2

Marvel has released a full trailer for Luke Cage Season 2 and as you'll see, Harlem's resident hero meets his match with a powerful new villain named Bushmaster, who has the kind of power that can actually kick Cage's ass. Luke Cage (Mike Colter) has to get brutal to take him down and get shit done. We also get to see Misty Knight (Simone Missick) see a little action as well as she puts her new cyborg arm to work.

It looks like the creative team dialed things up a bit for Season 2 and I love what I'm seeing in this latest trailer! 

After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.

Rosario Dawson reprises her role as Claire Temple and the series also stars Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, Theo Rossi as Shades, Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Mustafa Shakir (The Night Of) as John McIver, and Gabrielle Dennis (Insecure, Rosewood) as Tilda Johnson.

The 13-episode second season kicks off with an episode directed by Lucy Liu. The series preimres on Netflix on June 22nd.
