Luke Evans Will Join Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in The Netflix Comedy MURDER MYSTERY

Luke Evans has been cast in the upcoming Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston Netflix comedy Murder Mystery. The movie comes from Kyle Newacheck (Workaholics), who is set to direct the film from a script by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man).

Up until this point, all we knew about the story was that Sandler plays a New York cop who finally takes his wife (Aniston) on a long-promised European trip. Now, thanks to Deadline, we have some new information on the story. While on the flight to Europe, they meet a mysterious man (Evans) who invites them to an intimate family gathering on the super yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. "When Quince is murdered, the couple become the prime suspects in a modern-day whodunit."

This will be Adam Sandler’s sixth movie with Netflix and it reteams him with Aniston after they co-starred in the 2011 comedy Just Go With It. I hope that this new movie ends up being a good one for Sandler, who has had more misses than hits recently.
