Lulu Wilson Is Back to Kick Some Nazi Ass in THE LAST TEMPTATION OF BECKY Full Trailer
Lulu Wilson is back as everyone's favorite pint-sized killing machine, and this time she's taking her particular set of violent skills overseas! Quiver Distribution has released the full trailer for The Last Temptation of Becky, the third installment in the action-horror franchise, and it looks like Becky has another nasty group of villains to tear apart.
Following the events of Becky (2020) and The Wrath of Becky (2023), our young heroine has traded her life on the run for a career with the CIA. That's right, Becky is now a government-trained operative, which sounds like terrible news for anyone unfortunate enough to end up on her hit list.
The story follows Becky as she's sent undercover to Poland to investigate a family operating a tourist inn at the Wolf's Lair, the site of one of Adolf Hitler's World War II bunkers.
Her mission takes a dangerous turn when she discovers that the family's patriarch, Wilhelm Reuss, played by Neil Patrick Harris, is plotting to establish the Fourth Reich.
Naturally, Becky isn't about to let a bunch of Nazis get away with that. She's got her own way of handling these situations, and judging by the trailer, things are going to get extremely bloody.
The trailer also offers a pretty amusing warning about our favorite teenage badass: "Be careful with her – she's got spunk!"
Wilson has been a blast to watch in this franchise, and seeing her character evolve from a resourceful teenager fighting for survival into a full-fledged CIA agent is a fun direction for the series. The previous films established that Becky can be absolutely ruthless when pushed, so giving her professional training should make her even more dangerous.
Joining Wilson and Harris in the cast are Kate Siegel, Brandon Flynn, Catherine Walker, and James Urbaniak.
The sequel is directed by Jenn Wexler, whose previous horror credits include The Ranger and The Sacrifice Game. Wexler also co-wrote the screenplay with Matt Angel, based on a story by Angel and Suzanne Coote.
I've enjoyed watching this franchise embrace its ridiculous, ultra-violent premise, and I'm curious to see how Becky handles herself now that she's working for the CIA. The series has delivered some entertainingly brutal action, and throwing Neil Patrick Harris into the mix as a villain plotting the return of the Fourth Reich sounds like a fun addition.
