Lupita Nyong’o Set to Star in A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE From the Director of PIG
Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) is set to star in Paramount Pictures’ A Quiet Place franchise film, A Quiet Place: Day One. This horror film will be helmed by the director of Pig Michael Sarnoski, the story of which is based on an original idea by John Krasinski.
This is shaping up to be a great project! Nyong’o is a super-talented actress and this is sure to be a fun project for her to be a part of. I’m also excited about the director of the film because Pig, which starred Nicolas Cage, was such an amazing film!
We don’t have any story details to share for A Quiet Place: Day One, but the studio is hoping to build on and expand the franchise with it. Also, don’t expect Krasinski or Emily Blunt in the film. This is not going to tell their story, this is going to tell the story of another group of people.
Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce via Platinum Dunes alongside Krasinski and Allyson Seeger, who serves as executive producer.
The film is set to be released on March 8th, 2024.
