M. Night Shyamalan's Blinding Pictures to Produce Mystery-Thriller THE VANISHINGS AT CADDO LAKE

M. Night Shyamalan’s production company Blinding Pictures is set to back a mystery thriller titled The Vanishings at Caddo Lake from writing-directing team Celine Held and Logan George (Topside). Held and George penned the screenplay together based on an original idea and will also co-direct the film.

The film has already cast Dylan O’Brien (Love & Monsters), Eliza Scanlen (Sharp Objects, Old) and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), as well as Eric Lange (Escape at Dannemora), Sam Hennings (The Aviator), and Diana Hopper (Goliath).

The plot follows a town in which an 8-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes on Caddo Lake, and a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history.

This sounds like it has the potential to be an intriguing thriller. What do you think?
