MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Furiosa Poster Art by Tim Odland — "Let's Go!"

Artist Tim Odland has released a cool Mad Mad: Fury Road-inspired print featuring Charlize Theron's Furiosa. I love this character, and I hope that Fury Road isn't the last we see of her in the Mad Max franchise. The illustration is a perfect parody of the classic "Rosie the Riveter" poster. When talking about what prompted him to create this piece, Tim said:

"How can any artist who saw that movie not be inspired! What an expansive universe that just tugs at imagination. There were so many great visuals and very colorful characters. It was refreshing to see a female character be such a badass. At no point did the fact that Furiousa [sic] was holding her own, feel cheap and pandering. I never though, "Yeah right" I totally believed she was kicking butt  taking names and not someone to be messed with. Such a great movie I'm excited to see how this inspires the future of action."

If you want to buy a print of this, they are available for $30 right here. I'm a big fan of Odland's work, and we've featured a few of his pieces in the past, which you can check out at the following links: Sloth and Chunk GOONIES Fan ArtMAD MAX Caricature Art, STAR WARS Fan Art - "Bounteous Bounty Hunting and "Creeping Horrors From the Depths of Time and Space!"
