MAD MEN and GAME OF THRONES Director Alan Taylor Set to Helm INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE Series at AMC

Veteran TV director Alan Taylor, who has worked on hit series like The West Wing, Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, and more, has just signed on to direct the Interview With the Vampire series that is headed to AMC. Taylor will direct the first two episodes of the upcoming series and will also serve as an executive producer on Season 1.

The series is based on the Anne Rice novel, and was previously made into the 1994 film of the same name.

Interview With the Vampire has been given an eight episode order with an eye toward a 2022 debut on both AMC and AMC Plus. Rolin Jones will serve as writer, executive producer, and showrunner on the series under his overall deal with AMC Studios. Mark Johnson will executive produce under his overall deal with AMC Studios as well, with Anne Rice and Christopher Rice also executive producing.
