MAD MEN Creator Matthew Weiner Developing a New Mystery Dramady for FX
The creator of Mad Men, Matthew Weiner, is developing a new series for FX. The show is a half-hour series described as a mystery dramady. There are no details on what the plot of the series will be, but with Weiner being the guy who’s developing it, there seems to be some excitement around it.
Weiner is writing the series and will also executive produce and direct it. Weiner has had a successful career working in TV by writing and producing shows such as Becker and The Sopranos. After those projects, he created Mad Men, and after that, he developed The Romanoffs. That series followed different people in each episode who believed they were members of the Russian royal family.
