MAGIC: LEGENDS Releases a Gameplay Trailer
In case you forgot, a Magic: The Gathering MMO is being created. Magic: Legends will let you be a Planeswalker and save the multiverse. It actually sounds pretty awesome, and I’m sure fans that actually understand the lore are a million times more excited than I.
Well, a new gameplay trailer has been released and if I’m being honest, it looks more like Diablo III with a Magic skin. I’m sure there are plenty of features that make it an MMO instead of a dungeon crawl, but this video wasn’t great at that. All that criticism out there, the game does look good and it’s better than not getting anything at all.
In addition to the trailer, we also learned the first two classes that players will have access to are the Geomancer and the Mind Mage. The Geomancer draws upon the Earth for their power and ally themselves with goblins, kavu, and earth elementals. Meanwhile, the Mind Mage is all about psychic powers and controlling the situation. Three more classes will be available and hopefully we learn about them in the not too distant future.
If you’re interested in trying Magic: Legends out, you can go over to the official site and sign up for the beta. The full game is set to launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2021.
