MAGIC: THE GATHERING ARENA Announces Two Events Launching Today Amid COVID-19

With COVID-19, TCG players are having a bit of a rough time. Events are being canceled and stores are letting very few if any players get together to play games. It’s a bit of a rough time for all the games. However, some games are a little prepared for this like Magic: The Gathering. MTG has a digital version called Magic: The Gathering Arena and they recently revealed a couple of events that launch today!

The first event is the Brawlers’ Guildhall event. This event has no entry fee and runs through April 16. This will allow players to play the Brawl game mode at any time to get rewards and it’s pretty popular with players.

The second is the start of the Theros Beyond Death Ranked Draft. This will also run until April 16 and should provide fans with some great moments as they wait to be able to congregate once more.

MTG Arena is free-to-play on PC and lets you play the popular TCG online with friends. What event are you most excited about?
