MAGIC: THE GATHERING ARENA Launches on Mac This Week

Magic: The Gathering is a very popular Trading Card Game (TCG) and in these times of social distancing and quarantine, its digital platform, Magic: The Gathering Arena, has been becoming even more popular. The one problem, is that it’s only available on PC. Well, if you have a Mac, you’ll be able to join the fun soon. Starting on June 25, Mac players will be able to download MTG Arena through the Epic Games Store and join the battle. If you’ve been playing on PC and want to switch to Mac, don’t worry, you can do that no problem.

The launch of the Mac client also happens to be the launch of Core Set 2021 for MTG Arena. This means new card designs and “powerful returning cards” to help bolster decks and prepare players for the next year.

Another point of clarification is that Mac players will have access to all game modes of MTG Arena at launch. There’s no rolling out of features for the platform. It’s all there. Now if only we could get a mobile launch, so I can play on my phone.
