Magical Trailer for the Fantasy Adventure Epic THE LEGEND OF OCHI
A24 has released a trailer for a magical new fantasy adventure film The Legend of Ochi. The movie centers on a young girl who lives on a mysterious island and befriends a little creature known as an Ochi as they embark on a journey into the wilderness.
The synopsis reads: “In a remote northern village, a young girl, Yuri, is raised to never go outside after dark and to fear the reclusive forest creatures known as the ochi.
“When a baby ochi is left behind by its pack, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to reunite it with its family.” We also learn that the young girl "uncovers the mysteries of animal communication."
This looks like a great film that tells a fantastic and fun adventure story that the whole family can enjoy. I enjoy movies like this that have a sense of awe and wonder and display a big imagination.
It comes from Isaiah Saxon, who is making his directorial debut. The film stars Helena Zengel (System Crasher, News of the World), Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe.
The Legend of Ochi will be released in US theaters on February 28th, 2025. I’m excited about watching this movie!
