Magically Creepy First Trailer for Netflix's Series Adaptation of LOCKE & KEY

The first full trailer has arrived for Netflix’s series adaptation of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez‘s graphic novel series Locke & Key, and it looks fantastic! As you’ll see, the trailer is filled with magic, wonder, and creepiness.

This property has been on a long and hard journey of trying to get made by several different creative teams, but it finally found its footing and a creative team to actually bring this story to life. So far, I like what I’m seeing!

In Locke and Key, “After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.”

The Netflix series comes from Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), with a cast that includes Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, Bill Heck as Rendell Locke, Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge, Thomas Mitchell Barnet as Sam Lesser, and Griffin Gluck as Gabe.

Locke and Key will premiere on Netflix on February 7, 2020. Check out the trailer!
