Maika Monroe to Star in Universal Adaptation of Colleen Hoover Novel REMINDERS OF HIM

Maika Monroe (It Follows, Watcher, Longlegs) has signed on to star in the feature adaptation of Reminders of Him, based on the novel by Colleen Hoover (It Ends With Us). The pic is being made by Universal, with Vanessa Caswill (Love at First Sight) directing.

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Hoover, Reminders of Him will be a film about motherhood, forgiveness and the power of one love to heal even the most shattered heart. The screenplay was written by Hoover and Lauren Levine, based on Hoover’s novel.

Hoover and Levine are producing the film through their production company, Heartbones Entertainment. Gina Matthews is producing through Little Engine Productions.

Robin Fisichella is executive producing. First published in 2022, Reminders of Him has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and is a best seller around the world. Hoover is the author of numerous novels, including It Ends with Us, It Starts with Us, Layla, Heart Bones, Confess and Verity.

Monroe can be seen next as the lead in The Hand That Rocks the Cradle reimagining at 20th Century.
