MAKING IT Launches Online Crafting Competition with Donations to Local Food Banks of Winners
Making It is possibly my favorite crafting competition show. The ideas on the show are incredible, and Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler are the perfect hosts. Now, the duo are launching an online #MakingItAtHome challenge. This is for everyone at home to enjoy and enter the competition. The first challenge is to make something using your junk drawer, and the winner will get a digital patch and $1,000 donated to their local food bank.
To make things even cooler, the winner of Season 2, Justine Silva, has made a tutorial video to help show off some things you can do with simple playing cards over on the official Instagram page. This is a really awesome opportunity to keep busy, stay creative, declutter your house, and help those in need. In the words of Offerman and Poehler, “Make it!”
