MAN OF STEEL 2 Rumored To Introduce SUPERGIRL To The DCEU
An anonymous rumor on 4Chan has led to speculation and mass reporting that Supergirl will be introduced in Man Of Steel 2. Here's what the quote in question says via Screenrant:
“The sequel to Man of Steel has been developing in secret. Geoff Johns and Zack Snyder finished writing a story for the film back in November. Multiple writers were approached to turn into a screenplay including the writers from Watchmen and the 300 movie series. Brainiac will be the villain and Supergirl will be introduced to the DCEU."
The interest in having Supergirl in the DCEU has only intensified after DC struck gold with Wonder Woman, so it's not too surprising that DC is working behind the scenes to find another female superhero to add to the fold. Of course, we're all familiar with Melissa Benoist's Supergirl on The CW, and how DC is avidly against incorporating any of those actors in their film projects.
