Man Sets Official World Record for Most Samurai Swords Juggled

I remember as a kid I loved hearing about the Guinness Book of World Records. It was always fun to imagine making the world’s largest pizza. I feel like some of these records are getting ridiculous though. Josh Horton was inducted in November 2017 for officially setting the record of most samurai swords juggled. It wasn’t even just, “hey, I can juggle these 4 samurai swords.” There was a minimum length requirement, a minimum number of catches, and a few other stipulations in order to create this new record. I can only imagine Horton’s thought process, “I’ve seen guys juggle knives before, but you know what would be cooler, juggling some katanas.” I especially love how you see him put on just some safety goggles. No gloves (understandable since your fingers need to remain dexterous, but it’s still nuts), no kind of armor to protect his body, and nothing to protect the rest of his head. This is in the crazy, but kind of cool category for me. Horton, I’m sure you have inspired some people to go out and try this, I just pray they do so safely. Maybe in a year or two someone can juggle six katana.
