Manga and Anime Series MADE IN ABYSS is Getting a New Film Adaptation
Deadline has reported that the manga Made in Abyss is getting a new film adaptation by Kevin McMullin (Low Tide). The film is currently in the early stages at Columbia Pictures and is being produced by Vertigo Entertainment and Masi Oka (Bullet Train). The manga already spawned an anime series in 2017 with a sequel film released in Japan in 2020. In addition, the franchise is even getting an action RPG game from Spike Chunsoft next year.
