It's hard to quell expectations for the upcoming Star Wars after that phenomenal trailer dropped yesterday, and it's showing in businesses worldwide. After the trailer's release, there has been a surge of traffic to advance ticket services for fans wishing to be the first to see The Force Awakens. According to Deadline, this caused many sites such as AMC, Fandango, and Alamo Drafthouse to have difficulties on their site.
In Fandango's case, the surge was so great it crashed the entire website and made it inaccessible!
Anyone affected by this? Hearing about this surge makes me kind of nervous...maybe I should pick up my ticket now before it's too late?!
