Margot Robbie is Producing a Family Horror Anthology Series Called AMERI-SCARES
Ameri-Scares is a book series from Elizabeth Massie and thanks to Margot Robbie, it looks like it’ll become a TV/streaming series. Robbie’s production company LuckyChap Entertainment has teamed up with Assemble Media and Warner Horizon to develop the series which will be “a family-friendly horror anthology with a road-trip spirit.”
“Every episode would take place in a different state and center on a notorious local legends or spooky historical events.”
There are currently eight books in the series covering stories in a variety of states including California, Maryland, and Virginia with two of the books being written by Steven Mark Rainey. There’s no word on who will star yet or what platform the series will be on, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it on HBO Max.
Are you excited for this adaptation?
