Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny, Spider-Man: Far From Home) has signed on to star in the upcoming revenge thriller Sweet Girl at Netflix alongside Jason Momoa (Aquaman, See). In the directorial debut of Brian Andrew Mendoza, Tomei and Momoa are also joined by Isabela Merced (Dora and the Lost City of Gold), Adria Arjona (True Detective), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Magnificent Seven, 6 Underground), and Justin Bartha (National Treasure, The Hangover).

THR reports the following character and story descriptions:

The story sees Momoa play a devastated husband who vows to find the people responsible for the murder of his wife while protecting what he has left, his daughter (Merced).
Tomei will play a U.S. senator.
