Mark Hamill Amusingly "Confirms" Who Is Laughing at the End of THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Trailer
When I heard someone laughing at the end of the trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, I was debating who it was. Part of me thought it sounded like Mark Hamill, but another thought it sounded an awful lot like Ian McDiarmid’s Palpatine.
Once the trailer ended and we saw McDiarmid standing there ordering them to play the trailer again, it was all but guaranteed that it was indeed Emperor Palpatine laughing. Especially after we received confirmation that Palpatine was going to be in the film.
Well, Hamill decided to have some fun anyways and shared a fun tweet seemingly confirming whose laugh it was.
That’s right! According to Hamill, the laugh belongs to the insidious Joker dressed as Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi. The answer was so obvious that we didn’t even consider it. What did you think of the laughter at the end of the trailer?
