Mark Hamill Reveals The Rebel Pilots Weren't Wearing Pants When They Attacked The Death Star in A NEW HOPE

Mark Hamill recently dropped an interesting bit of Star Wars trivia that a lot of you fans might find amusing. When asked on Twitter if he could share any little known facts about Star Wars, the actor revealed that when the Rebel pilots attacked the Death Star in A New Hope, they weren’t wearing any pants! He explained:

Because of a record heatwave in England when we filmed the original #StarWars, most of the pilots wore only the top-half of their costume, attacking the Death Star wearing shorts. #TrueStory https://t.co/RSgZRneft9

I love that after all these years, after all the interviews and in-depth documentaries that have been made about the Star Wars franchise, there are still fun little things like this that some of us have never known!
