Mark Hamill Wanted to Play Vulture in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

Mark Hamill is a pretty spectacular character actor. Of course, many of us are aware of his role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, he is also incredibly well known for voicing and playing comic book villains. He has been the iconic voice for Joker in multiple Batman cartoons as well as playing the Trickster in both Flash TV shows. But what sort of Marvel villain would Mark Hamill play if he was in the MCU?

Well, if it were up to him, he would have been Vulture. At D23 this weekend, Hamill talked about his desire to play a villain in the MCU. He envisioned himself to play the Vulture, based on the fact that in many of the comic books, the Vulture is old, or as he put it a Senior Citizen.

Personally, I love Michael Keaton in pretty much everything he does, but I especially thought he was fantastic as the Vulture. As much as I love Hamill too, I just don't think he would have been able to do better than Keaton did. Keaton truly nailed the part of the Vulture.

That doesn't mean I don't want to see Hamill in the MCU. Personally I feel Hamill still could be a great fit with a different villain. The Mad Thinker would be an awesome role for him. He's a little crazy, very smart, has a giant faceless Android as a sidekick. It would be perfect... if it weren't for the fact that I think the rights might belong to Fox. Ooh wait, Red Ghost would be good too. Hmm, also probably at fox? Mole Man? WAIT! I GOT IT! Arcade. Mark Hamill could make an awesome Arcade in the MCU. If the MCU ever wanted to use him.

What do you think? Do you think Hamill would have been a good Vulture? Is there someone else in the MCU that Hamill would be awesome to see portray? Comment below.
