Mark Ruffalo Confirms Whether or Not We Will See Bruce Banner/The Hulk in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY

One of the biggest glaring absences on the cast list for Avengers: Doomsday is Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/The Hulk. This character is an original Avenger, and he has been in every major battle since the beginning, so can we expect to see him pop up, or not?

Ruffalo has been confirmed to return as Bruce Banner in this summer’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where he is rumored to be turning into Savage Hulk, and some are saying that he may be in bad shape by the end of the pic.

So will he be able to appear in Doomsday? Ruffalo talked to Empire Magazine about his character, reportedly confirming he won't be part of Avengers: Doomsday, but also added, "[I would return] as long as they keep finding cool things to do with Hulk."

Tom Holland's Peter Parker/Spider-Man also isn't expected to make an appearance in Avengers: Doomsday, so I am concerned about the fate of Peter and Bruce, but also excited to finally see what’s next for the MCU’s Spider-Man after the sad ending to his last film.

As usual, we will just have to wait and see what happens, as any leak or confirmation could always be a curveball or mislead.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2027.
