Mark Wahlberg and Antoine Fuqua's Sci-Fi Thriller INFINITE Will Debut on Paramount+
Antoine Fuqua directed Mark Wahlberg in a new sci-fi thriller titled Infinite and this movie is set to exclusively debut on the Paramount+ streaming service.
Infinite centers on a man named Evan McCauley (Wahlberg), “who is haunted by the fact that he demonstrates skills he has never learned and has memories of places he has never visited. After encountering a secret group that call themselves ‘Infinites,’ he discovers that his memories are real – but they are from multiple past lives.”
The film also has a solid supporting cast that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sophie Cookson, Jason Mantzoukas, Rupert Friend, Toby Jones and Dylan O’Brien.
Infinite is the biggest film yet that ViacomCBS has announced will be coming to the Paramount+ streaming service. It’s the kind of big-budget film with A-list talent that you’d expect to see in theaters, but it’s skipping theaters completely.
Paramount+ is facing some heavy competition in the streaming service space, with rivals such as Netflix, Disney Plus and HBO Max all fighting to get subscribers. ViacomCBS obviously thinks that a Mark Wahlberg action film will help in their efforts to find success.
