Mark Wahlberg and Iko Uwais Brutally Kick Some Ass in Red-Band Trailer For MILE 22

We've got an action-packed brutal red-band trailer for Mark Wahlberg's upcoming thriller Mille 22. The movie comes from director Peter Berg and the rest of the cast includes Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais, Ronda Rousey, and John Malkovich. This actually looks like its going to be a pretty badass action flick! As you'll see, there's going to be some great fight and action sequences in the movie.

In a visceral modern thriller from the director of Lone Survivor, Mark Wahlberg stars as James Silva, an operative of the CIA’s most highly-prized and least-understood unit. Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, Silva must retrieve and transport an asset who holds life-threatening information to Mile 22 for extraction before the enemy closes in. 

STXfilms has already started working a sequel to this film along with a TV series. They are looking to blow this up into a big franchise and it certainly seems to have potential. The first film arrives in theaters on August 17th.
