Mark Wahlberg Teams Up With Director Baltasar Kormakur Again For ARTHUR THE KING, True Dog Adventure Story
Director Baltasar Kormakur is teaming back up with the star of his film, 2 Guns, Mark Wahlburg for the upcoming film, Arthur the King to tell the true story of the book, Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home. The 2017 book by Mikael Lindnord tells the following personal story:
Mikael Lindnord, the captain of a Swedish adventure racing team, and follows Lindnord and the wounded stray dog he met during a 400-mile race through the Ecuadoran jungle. After Lindnord threw him a meatball, the dog followed the team through some of the toughest terrain on the planet. Lindnord decided to adopt the dog and brought him back to Sweden.
I like this story because we hear up top that the dog survives. I don’t watch any movie in which I know there is a dog with an unsure destiny. My Dog Skip messed me up big time, and I’ve never been the same. But, I digress.
This actually does sound like an incredible adventure, and I’m totally interested in it. Does this sound like a film you’d like?
